Projects
Designing animatronics and themed-park experiences starts with understanding the creative vision, the client brief, and the real-world constraints of installation, safety, and audience interaction. I work closely with clients, artists, engineers, and fabrication teams to translate story-driven concepts into reliable, show-ready attractions.
My role covers the full pipeline: concept development, mechanical design, 3D modelling (Rhino / SolidWorks), motion planning, structural integration, and production documentation. I design internal frames, joints, and mechanism layouts to validate clearances, ranges of motion, service access, and manufacturability, ensuring smooth operation and long-term durability.
From large-scale animatronic creatures to seasonal themed installations, I deliver fabrication-ready models, drawings, and coordination support that bridge creativity and engineering—so every piece is immersive, safe, and built to perform under real operating conditions.


🦖 Remote-Control T-Rex Animatronic (15m+)
A large-scale Tyrannosaurus rex animatronic designed for immersive experiences. I developed the full digital build—Rhino (Rhinoceros) for form and surfacing, and SolidWorks for internal mechanisms and structure—resulting in a remote-controlled creature over 15 meters long, engineered for realistic motion and reliable operation.


🎄 Giant Animatronic Christmas Tree (20m+)
A landmark-scale animatronic tree installation created for a themed Christmas campaign in a well-known shopping center. The project involved translating concept into a production-ready design for a structure over 20 meters high, integrating animated elements, structural considerations, and on-site feasibility to deliver a memorable public centerpiece.




🎭 Themed Park Characters (Famous Figures)
A set of large-format, themed character builds created for a theme park environment, focused on strong visual impact, recognisable silhouettes, and durability for public display. This work involved coordinating scale, proportions, finishing details, and installation requirements to deliver high-presence attractions.
🛠️ Animatronics Build Process (From Structure to Creature)
A behind-the-scenes look at the animatronics fabrication workflow, showing how characters go from internal frame and mechanical structure to the final sculpted exterior. The process includes structural alignment, motion-ready assembly, and material/finish integration to ensure reliable performance in real-world installations.


T-Rex — Animatronic Skeleton & Mechanism Design (3D CAD)
I designed the internal mechanical skeleton for the T-Rex in 3D, defining the structural frame, key articulation joints, and the space required for actuators, wiring routes, and maintenance access. The design validates clearances and ranges of motion to ensure the mechanism is manufacturable, reliable, and serviceable.


Triceratops — Animatronic Skeleton & Mechanism Design (3D CAD)
I developed the 3D mechanical skeleton for the Triceratops, focusing on a robust structure for front-heavy loads (head/horns), stable kinematics, and clean packaging for actuators and internal components. The model checks motion envelopes, interference points, and structural reinforcement to support smooth, safe movement in production.
